It has been a pleasure to have had this amazing opportunity for our daughter.  Claudia Post, Master Pastelist who's teaching expertise provided personal extensive pastel and oil instruction has exceeded all aspects initially outlined at the start of her program 2 years ago for 3 gifted teens.

The Gifted Teen Program has exposed our daughter to different interpretations of art and artists by attending and encouraging college visits, museum trips and various local art exhibits and events.  Not only has Claudia personally introduced these rising young artists to other experienced artists, she has also recommended the best products, business contacts and hands on guidance to arrangements of putting on an art show.  Claudia's nurturing nature is an asset to her teaching; she is very enthusiastic, encouraging, provides a lot of artistic critique, direction and increased self discipline to the teens.  In the time our daughter has been under Claudia's tutelage her technique and approach has been honed and we have witnessed her personal growth in the quality of the works produced.

We are so pleased to share with you these feelings of great appreciation for this opportunity and meaningful instruction that will carry on through the lives of these teens.  Claudia has touched many hearts and has opened endless possibilities for a promising future.
We highly recommend other parents to enroll their children in Claudia's Gifted Teen Program and watch their child's talents and knowledge expand to new heights.

Two and a half years ago my daughter Lauren Tyrell was introduced to a woman who would be instrumental in changing the course of her life and helping her dream to become an artist come true. That woman is the artist Claudia Post, who has become Lauren’s teacher, mentor and friend.

Claudia gave Lauren not only a scholarship of art instruction in her studio, but also several months of intense and productive art classes, excursions to various museums and galleries, visits to other artists’ homes and studios, as well as personal introductions to many well-known artists and their works.

Claudia taught Lauren how to prepare for a gallery opening, how to speak confidently about her work, what it means to live the life of a professional artist…all with a wonderfully warm sense of humor and a voice filled with encouragement and conviction. I saw Lauren grow and thrive under Claudia’s tutelage.

Claudia helped Lauren build a fantastic portfolio, and Lauren’s acceptance into art school in Boston was the fruition of all the hard work done under Claudia’s watchful and caring eye. I cannot imagine a more qualified or caring teacher, one who is willing to invest so much time and effort into her students. She will always remain a dear friend and trusted advisor to Lauren and our family.

Affectionately,

Cheryl Tyrell
